Information We Collect

When you submit a booking request, contact form, catering inquiry, wholesale inquiry, waitlist request, or gift card purchase, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, event details, guest count, dietary notes, allergy notes, and message content.

Payment processing is handled by Square. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Please do not send us Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the website.

How We Use Information

• Review, confirm, manage, reschedule, and support bookings and catering requests.
• Create Square invoices, payment links, gift cards, and customer records.
• Send booking confirmations, invoice notices, reminders, customer support replies, and operational updates.
• Respond to questions and provide customer service through email, phone, or optional text messages.
• Protect the website from spam, abuse, fraud, duplicate bookings, and security incidents.
• Understand which pages and booking flows are working so we can improve the customer experience.
• For corporate, catering, and wholesale leads, review publicly available business information to help our team route and prepare a relevant response.

We share information only with providers that help us run Edylicious, including:

• Square for invoices, checkout, gift cards, customer records, and payment processing.
• Gmail / Google Workspace for email communication and staff notifications.
• Google Calendar for availability and blocked-date checks.
• Vercel for website hosting and privacy-focused web analytics.
• Neon Postgres for booking, waitlist, workflow, and operational records.
• Upstash Redis / Vercel KV for rate limits, abuse prevention, and short-lived operational state.
• PostHog for product analytics and booking-funnel measurement.
• Sentry for error monitoring and reliability diagnostics.
• Intercom for lead records, support context, enrichment notes, and lifecycle tags.
• Nodemailer / SMTP for sending transactional emails from Edylicious.

Cookies & Analytics

We use essential storage for website operation, booking forms, security, spam prevention, and checkout. We also use analytics tools such as PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand page performance and booking-flow behavior. We do not use analytics cookies to sell personal information or run targeted advertising.

Email & SMS

Transactional emails about bookings, invoices, gift cards, customer support, and account activity are necessary to provide the services you request. If we send promotional emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us.

We send booking-related text messages only when you opt in or ask us to text you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Text opt-in is not required to book with us.

Food Allergies & Dietary Notes

Allergy and dietary notes are used only to review your booking and help our staff communicate clearly. Edylicious is not an allergen-free kitchen. Our kitchen and menu may involve common allergens including wheat/gluten, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, or shellfish depending on the item or event.

Children

Bookings must be submitted by an adult. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online.

Security & Retention

We use HTTPS, access controls, rate limiting, payment processing through Square, and operational monitoring to protect information. No online system is 100% secure. We keep records as long as needed for bookings, payments, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and customer support.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information associated with you by contacting us. We may need to keep certain records for legitimate business, accounting, tax, security, or legal reasons.
